Two of the regions most prominent rural chartered surveyors, Simon Nixon and David Coulson have joined forces to create a firm providing comprehensive professional services over four counties. The firm will operate as Addisons Surveyors LLP and will bring together two well known and respected companies, Addisons Chartered Surveyors and Broadley & Coulson.

Both individual companies have a wealth of experience and success in rural surveying in the North. The merger brings together around 30 members of staff, including qualified and experienced chartered surveyors, who will provide a comprehensive range of professional services to agricultural and rural businesses, landowners and those buying and selling property.

Each of the four offices will have its own dedicated sales staff working alongside the company's qualified surveyors and agricultural services department to offer a full range of property and land agency services. These services include: estate agency, surveys and valuations, property management, auctioneers, planning and development matters, insurance agents, farm business consultancy and land agency, plus the benefit of a dedicated auction rooms in Barnard Castle.

Both Addisons and Broadley & Coulson have a tradition of providing advice and services to the rural sector and with strong and growing agency departments this merger illustrates the companies' continuing growth and evolution.
